North Shore Barbell is a powerlifting and strength training gym at 65 View Road in Wairau Valley. Members can train 24/7 using Eleiko powerlifting bars and plates, combo racks, competition benches, Rogue powerlifting bars, heavy weights and dumbbells up to 50kg. The gym has a specialist strength focus rather than a general cardio setup, and also provides online powerlifting coaching led by Jason Clarke.
