About Kohi Karate (JKA Karate Auckland)
Kohi Karate is a JKA Shotokan Karate dojo based at St Thomas's School Hall in Kohimarama. It runs mixed classes for kids and adults on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, covering karate basics, kata, kumite and practical self defence. Classes use the JKA syllabus and are supported by several black belt instructors, with smaller groups used for different ages and skill levels. The first two classes are free.
