Playground Fitness is a group training gym at 10 Maidstone Street in Ponsonby, offering a personal training experience in a small group setting. Its programme uses phased 4–6 week training blocks covering strength, conditioning, muscle building and core stability, with equipment including free weights, SkiErgs, assault bikes, kettlebells, rigs and live feedback screens. Classes can be booked through the Playground Fitness app, and a trial is available for new members.
