About Koshinkai Aikido Dojo
Koshinkai Aikido Dojo is a Japanese style martial arts dojo in Grey Lynn with regular morning and evening Aikido training. Sessions include open-handed techniques, aiki weapons such as bokken, jo and tanto, seated meditation and breathing exercises. Beginners can start through regular training or an introduction course, and the dojo also welcomes visiting Aikidoka. The training is non-competitive and focuses on developing physical coordination, calmness and self-defence skills.
